Limited Edition – A rare rum for collectors and connoisseurs

Are you searching for a rare collector’s rum of extraordinary quality? Plantation Rum Extreme No. 5 is an exclusive and limited release from the renowned Plantation Rum Extreme Series V, celebrating Barbados' unique rum heritage.

This 14-year-old Barbados rum was distilled in 2007 at West Indies Rum Distillery, a historic establishment with over 130 years of history. It has been aged for 2 years in a tropical climate on bourbon casks, followed by 10 years in continental conditions on bourbon casks, before finishing with 2 years in Ferrand casks. The result is a complex and deep rum with exceptional intensity of flavor.

Tasting Experience
This rum is distilled using both Gregg pot still and column still, creating a well-balanced combination of power and finesse. The flavor profile offers notes of ripe tropical fruit, spiced oak, vanilla, caramel, and deep barrel-aged tones, with a long and intense finish. The 58% ABV enhances its depth and complexity.

The History Behind It
West Indies Rum Distillery was founded in 1893 by George Stade, an innovative figure in the world of rum production. Today, Plantation Rum’s Master Blender, Alexandre Gabriel, continues this legacy through a modern approach to fermentation, distillation, and aging.

A Visual Masterpiece
The bottle’s design features artwork by Barbadian artist Alex Mars, whose vibrant and colorful style reflects the island’s dynamic culture.

Plantation Rum Extreme No. 5 is a unique opportunity for collectors and rum enthusiasts seeking the very best.
