Albert Bichot Corton Grand Cru Clos des Maréchaudes 2020

Albert Bichot Corton Grand Cru Clos des Maréchaudes 2020 is an impressive Grand Cru from Burgundy. The wine comes from the prestigious Corton area in Côte de Beaune. This is where some of Burgundy’s most coveted wines are made. This wine clearly shows the finesse, depth and elegant structure of the area.

Corton Grand Cru Clos des Maréchaudes is known for its powerful yet elegant style. The Pinot Noir grape is given optimal growing conditions on the calcareous and stony slopes. The result is a wine with great complexity, deep fruit and ageing potential.

The wine is produced by the historic Burgundy producer Albert Bichot. The house works with great respect for terroir and nature. The wines are vinified at Domaine du Pavillon in the heart of Pommard. More than 18 hectares of vineyards in the Côte de Beaune are cultivated here. The work in the field is done with a focus on biodiversity and sustainability.

Since the 2018 vintage, Domaine du Pavillon has been certified organic. The organic approach allows better expression of the vineyards’ unique terroir. It also creates wines with greater balance, purity and character.

The 2020 vintage delivers a Corton Grand Cru with great concentration and elegance. The wine combines intense fruit with classic Burgundy structure. It can be enjoyed in its youth after oxygenation, but develops even greater complexity with age.
