An Orkney Distillery 13 Year Old Highlands Single Malt 48% is a characterful and elegant Highland single malt. It has been selected for The Single Malts of Scotland – Reserve Fade, where the focus is on clean taste and clear provenance. Parcel #8 shows Orkney at its most authentic.

This whisky is created in small batches. It is blended from just 4 casks, adding depth and complexity. The result is a harmonious malt with great balance and regional character. Here you get a single malt that speaks clearly and cleanly.

The whisky was distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2022 after 13 years of maturation. It is bottled at 48%, which gives both body and structure. The alcohol strength lifts the aromas without being harsh. It is intense but still pleasantly rounded.

The Reserve Fade series is known for its uncompromising style. This bottling is not chill-filtered and has no added color. This gives a more natural texture and an honest expression from the cask. Color, taste and mouthfeel are exactly as the aging has created it.
