To this is added a carefully selected blend of local and cultivated botanicals – with crab apples at the center – giving the liqueur its distinctive balance of fresh fruit, spice and soft sweetness. The name Bertha’s Revenge comes from Bertha, a legendary cow from Sneem in County Kerry. She died in 1993, aged 48 years old, and gave birth to 39 calves in her lifetime – a true Irish legend. This gin liqueur was created to bring Bertha back to spirit, literally, reflecting her strength, warmth and long life.
