The history of the house

Pierre de Beaucastel can trace its history back to 1687. The estate became an early part of Châteauneuf-du-Pape’s winemaking heritage when the area was selected by the Popes in the 14th century. For over six generations, the Perrin family has managed this unique terroir and passed on a unique craftsmanship from father to son. The combination of organic farming, respect for tradition and uncompromising quality has made Beaucastel a reference point for the entire appellation.
