Clos des Jacobins Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé 2014 – Top class from the heart of Saint-Émilion

Clos des Jacobins Grand Cru Classé 2014 is a brilliant proof that focused passion and uncompromising quality can elevate an estate to the elite. Today, Clos des Jacobins is one of the absolute leaders in the Grand Cru Classé classification in Saint-Émilion – and the 2014 vintage shows why.

Run as a family estate by Thibaut and Magali Decoster, since 2004 both cellar and vineyards have undergone a significant transformation. The 8.5 hectares of vineyards have been upgraded with meticulous care and selection, and the cellar has been completely renovated with modern equipment to ensure precision and purity in every cuvée.

The result is a Saint-Émilion with structure, finesse and depth – a wine that balances power and elegance beautifully. The 2014 vintage is classic and harmonious with great freshness and well-integrated barrel.

Serve at 16-18°C and oxygenate the wine an hour before serving. Perfect with beef, duck, lamb or mature cheeses.

The history of the house

Clos des Jacobins has undergone an impressive development in just a few years. Since Thibaut and Magali Decoster took over, there has been massive investment in both vineyards and modern production equipment. This dedication has brought the château to the forefront of Saint-Émilion’s Grand Cru Classé properties.

This quality was further cemented at the Asian edition of VinExpo in Hong Kong, where Clos des Jacobins was voted the best in the classification in a tasting of three vintages from classified chateaux. A recognition that clearly underlines the chateau’s high level and international status.

Today, Clos des Jacobins stands as one of the most exciting and dynamic names in Saint-Émilion – a small château with big ambition and even bigger quality.
