An uncompromising and powerful Jamaica rum from Compagnie des Indes – exclusively bottled for Denmark. This single cask release from cask no. JDM71 is bottled at full cask strength of 64.9%, providing an intense, raw and authentic rum experience for the serious enthusiast.

Distilled in July 2012 in Jamaica at selected Multi Distilleries and aged for 8 years, this rum showcases the classic Jamaican style with high aromatic intensity, depth and complexity. Bottled in April 2021 and limited to just 247 bottles, this is a rare release with great collector potential.

As a true single cask and cask strength, there’s no dilution or unnecessary adjustments – you get the rum exactly as it developed in the cask. The result is an explosive and characterful Jamaica rum with plenty of power and personality.

Tasting notes

Nose: Intense and aromatic with tropical fruit, overripe banana, pineapple and classic Jamaican funk. Hints of licorice, spices and lightly toasted oak.

Taste: Powerful and concentrated with notes of exotic fruits, caramelized sugar, citrus and spicy oak. The high alcohol content provides structure and warmth, but is balanced by fruity richness.

Finish: Long, warm and persistent with dried fruit, spices and a distinctive cask character.
