Domaine Maldant Pauvelot Aloxe-Corton Vireilles Vignes 2015 – Classic and powerful Burgundy from Côte de Beaune

Domaine Maldant Pauvelot Aloxe-Corton Vireilles Vignes 2015 is an intense and characterful red Burgundy with both structure and finesse. This is Pinot Noir from one of the most respected villages in Côte de Beaune – Aloxe-Corton – known for wines with depth, firmness and great ageing potential.

The 2015 vintage is generous and sun-ripened. It delivers concentrated fruit, ripe tannin structure and a great balance between power and elegance. It is a wine that already shows great charm, but can also develop further with a few years of ageing.

This wine is perfect with classic dishes such as beef, duck, game and mushroom dishes. It also matches mature cheeses and gastronomic experiences where Burgundy needs to show its serious side.

Details and character

The Vireilles Vignes vineyard produces wines with great structure and mineral backbone. The soils contribute depth and complexity, while the Pinot Noir grape delivers elegance and aromatic finesse.

The vinification is done with respect for the traditions of Burgundy. The barrel aging is well balanced and supports the fruit without overpowering the expression of the terroir. The result is a harmonious and classic Aloxe-Corton with a clear identity.
