Feuerheerd’s Colheita 1970 Port – Exclusive barrel aged tawny port from Douro

Feuerheerd’s Colheita 1970 is a rare and impressive port from Douro, Portugal. This Colheita comes from a single vintage and was aged in wooden barrels for 43 years before it was bottled in 2013. The long barrel aging results in a port with exceptional depth, complexity and elegance.

Colheita port is a special type of tawny port, where the wine comes from a specific vintage and matures for many years in oak barrels. During the long aging process, the wine develops its characteristic amber-golden color and complex aromas of nuts, dried fruit and caramelized notes.

Feuerheerd’s Colheita 1970 is a great example of this style. It combines ripe fruit, nutty nuances and an elegant acidity that gives the wine both freshness and balance. The result is a silky smooth port with great finesse and an impressively long finish.

This port is perfect for special moments. It is suitable for collectors, Port enthusiasts and connoisseurs who want to experience a mature and refined Colheita.
