The story goes that Paul Jones Jr, the founder of Four Roses, fell in love with a beautiful southern belle. He asked her to marry him and she replied that if he said yes, she would wear a corsage of roses to the upcoming ball. When she arrived that night, she wore a corsage of four roses. As a symbol of his devotion and love, he later named his bourbon “Four Roses”.
