Doorly’s is an iconic name in the Caribbean. Martin Doorly founded the brand in the early 1920s and Doorly’s Macaw made history as the first bottle of rum exported from Barbados. In 1992, Martin Doorly’s Rum was acquired by RL Seale, and today Doorly’s is produced and aged at the renowned Foursquare Distillery.

Foursquare Distillery in Barbados dates back to the 1700s. The oldest records suggest that the special rum windmill attached to the sugar mill has been in production since 1730. It’s a distillery with deep historical roots and modern uncompromising quality – today recognized as one of the absolute leading rum distilleries in the world.

This 14 year old version is aged in a tropical climate, resulting in an intense and concentrated flavor profile. Distillation is both pot still and column still, combining power, structure and elegance. In keeping with Barbados tradition, there is no added sugar – the natural sweetness comes entirely from the barrel aging and the art of distillation.

At 48% alcohol, it’s lean, complex and structured – but still harmonious and balanced. A rum perfectly suited to be enjoyed neat in a large glass, where the aromas are allowed to fully unfold.
