The history of the house

GD. Vajra is a family-owned winery founded in 1972 in Barolo. The house was among the first in Piedmont to work organically. The winery is located in Vergne, one of the highest elevations in the region. It produces wines with cool elegance and great finesse. The Vajra family works with respect for nature and tradition. The philosophy is simple: wine should bring joy – “Life is beautiful”.
