History of the house

GD. Vajra is a family-owned winery founded in 1972 in Barolo. The house was among the first in Piedmont to work organically. The vineyard is located in Vergne, one of the highest areas in the region. Here the grapes ripen slowly and develop great finesse. The Vajra family works with respect for nature and the traditions of the area. The wines are known for their elegant and cool style. The philosophy is simple: wine should bring joy – “Life is beautiful”.
