History of the house

GD. Vajra is a family-owned winery founded in 1972 in the heart of Barolo. The winery was among the first in Piedmont to work organically and has since built a reputation for quality and authenticity. The winery is located in Vergne, one of the highest areas of Barolo, where cool conditions create elegant wines with finesse. The Vajra family works with great respect for nature and the traditions of the area. The philosophy is simple: wine should be a joy in everyday life – “Life is beautiful”.
