Glenfarclas Family Cask 1989 – Cask #13007 is a rare and exclusive single malt whisky from one of Speyside’s most respected distilleries. Bottled in 2021 as part of the legendary Family Cask series, this whisky represents the authentic style that Glenfarclas is famous for: deep sherry character, complexity and an impressive elegance.

The Family Cask range was created to showcase the distillery’s most unique casks, with each cask bottled separately. This release comes from cask number 13007, a classic Sherry Butt that over the decades has developed a whisky of great depth and intensity. Only 606 bottles were bottled from this cask, making it a coveted bottle for collectors and whisky enthusiasts alike.

A classic sherry cask matured Speyside whisky

Glenfarclas is known for its traditional production and its love of sherry casks. This whisky is matured in a large sherry butt, giving an intense and complex flavor profile with dark fruit, spice and deep sweetness.

Bottled at 51.9% alcohol, the whisky retains its natural power and richness for an intense and authentic experience. At the same time, the balance is impressive – the result of years of patient maturation in the distillery’s traditional Speyside warehouses.
