This bottling comes from a single sherry butt, distilled in 2009 and first bottled on August 1, 2024. With only 627 bottles bottled, this is a rare release that is rarely seen on the market.

Sherry butts are the heart of the Glenfarclas style, and here the cask shows its full strength. Tasting notes:
The nose opens with heavy sherry notes, raisins, dark chocolate, walnuts and dried figs, followed by orange peel, leather and warm spices. The palate is rich and powerful with notes of syrup, prunes, spicy oak, cocoa and a hint of espresso. The finish is long, deep and warm with lingering sherry, spice and dark fruit.
