This Amarone is made from carefully selected grapes from the house’s three prestigious Cru vineyards, resulting in a wine of deep concentration, great elegance and remarkable structure. The result is an Amarone with power, finesse and a long ageing potential.

The grapes are harvested by hand from vineyards located in the heart of Valpolicella Classico. After harvesting, the grapes undergo the traditional appassimento method, where they are dried for several months in the so-called fruttaio drying rooms. This process concentrates the sugars, aromas and structure of the grapes and is the secret to the intense character and deep complexity of Amarone.

Vinification takes place during the winter months when the grapes have reached the desired concentration. The wine is then aged for around three years in oak barrels, giving it an extra dimension of depth, spice and elegance. The combination of hand-picked grapes, traditional drying and long barrel aging creates an Amarone with great personality.

In the glass, the wine is deep and intense with a dark ruby red color. The aroma is complex and elegant with concentrated notes of ripe dark fruits, spices and subtle barrel nuances. The taste is rich and powerful with a dense structure, silky tannins and impressive length. The aftertaste is long, warm and harmonious – just like a great Amarone should be.
