The rum originates from Barbados and is distilled in St. Philip – an area known for its classic, balanced rum style. It combines tropical intensity with elegant cask influence in a maturation process that is both ambitious and uncompromising.

First, the rum matured for 8 years in ex-bourbon barrels under the Caribbean sun, where the heat concentrated the flavor and created depth and richness. Then it was aged for a further 4 years in American oak, previously used for Tawny Port. This is where the magic happens: the port casks add refined sweetness, dried fruit and vinous elegance that blend perfectly with the classic structure of Barbados rum.

The result is a rum with layers upon layers of flavor – powerful yet balanced. Intense but sophisticated. A rum that rewards slow enjoyment.
