Kendall-Jackson Estates Collection Camelot Highlands Chardonnay 2022 is a luxurious and terroir-driven California white wine for those who seek depth, elegance and uncompromising quality in every glass. This Chardonnay is made to impress – both at the dinner table and when pouring something special.

The grapes come from the coveted Santa Maria Bench vineyards in Santa Barbara County, one of the world’s most recognized areas for Chardonnay. At an altitude of 106-137 meters, with cool Pacific Ocean breezes, the fruit ripens slowly and develops a natural freshness, intensity and minerality. The 40+ year old vines deliver the concentration and complexity that only mature vines can.

After fermentation, the wine is aged on its fine lees for extra body and a silky, creamy texture. This is followed by 9 months of aging in French oak barrels – 40% new – adding elegant spice, structure and balance. The result is a golden, full-bodied and perfectly rounded Chardonnay with both power and finesse.

Serve at 8-10°C with light meat, grilled fish, seafood, creamy pasta dishes or mature cheeses. It also works great on its own as a glass of luxury when only the best is good enough.

The history of the house

Kendall-Jackson is one of America’s most respected wineries. The Jackson family purchased the property in 1974, when it was an orchard. In 1982, the vision of quality wine was realized and in a few short years, the house became one of the leading producers in California.
