The story of Quinta do Passadouro

Quinta do Passadouro dates back to the 18th century and is today one of the most respected estates in the Douro. The winery is located in Cima Corgo near the village of Vale de Mendiz, an area known for some of the region’s best vineyards.

The property extends over approximately 42 hectares and includes both vineyards and olive groves. Around 6 hectares are dedicated to olive trees, which play a natural role in the life of the historic quinta. Today, the house is known for both classic Ports and elegant dry wines, all expressing the unique terroir of the area.
