Taylor’s 20 Years Tawny Port Magnum – Exclusive cask aged port with great depth

Taylor’s 20 Years Tawny Port Magnum is an elegant and exclusive port from the famous Taylor’s Port house in the Douro Valley. This 1.5 liter magnum bottle contains a port with impressive complexity and silky smooth structure. The long barrel aging gives the wine depth, finesse and a beautiful amber color.

This 20 year tawny port is created by blending carefully selected port wines from the house’s large reserves. The wines are aged for an average of 20 years in small oak barrels. The slow maturation gives the port its distinctive color and elegant flavor profile. During aging, the wine develops notes of dried fruit, roasted nuts and warm spices.

The magnum bottle makes it ideal for festive occasions or as an impressive gift. It’s perfect for the cheeseboard, especially with mature or blue cheeses. It also goes well with desserts with nuts, caramel or dried fruit. Many people also enjoy it on its own as a relaxing after-dinner glass. Serve it slightly chilled to bring out the aromas.

Flavor notes

The aroma offers aromas of roasted nuts, dried figs, raisins and orange peel. There is also a hint of spice from the barrel aging. The taste is soft and complex with notes of caramel, toffee, almonds and ripe fruit. The finish is long, warm and elegant.

The house of Taylor’s Port

Taylor’s Port is one of the world’s most recognized Port houses. Founded in 1692, the house has been producing port for more than three centuries. Taylor’s is particularly famous for its Vintage Ports. The house is also one of the leading producers of aged tawny ports. In their historic cellars, called lodges, some of the Douro Valley’s finest Ports are aged.
