Details and aging

This port is made from carefully selected wines aged for decades in small oak barrels in Taylor’s historic cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia. The long oxidative aging results in a deep amber color, intense concentration and a unique aromatic complexity.

The style is classic very old tawny: full ripeness, perfect balance between sweetness and freshness and an almost endless finish. This is port in its most refined and elegant form.
