This 10 year single cask bottling from Lady of the Glen is for those looking for something unique – a whisky with personality, natural strength and an exciting cask character that develops in the glass.

The whisky was distilled on June 23, 2014 and bottled on February 4, 2025. The maturation starts in a classic hogshead cask, after which the whisky is given a distinctive and flavorful finish in a first fill ex-Madeira Quarter Cask from the renowned Josafer bodega in Portugal. The quarter cask size provides extra intense cask contact and adds layers of nuts, caramelized sweetness and spicy nuances that perfectly complement Teaninich’s floral and slightly spicy distillate.

With a natural alcoholic strength of 53%, this bottling delivers both richness and balance. Bottled straight from the cask with no chill filtration and no colorant, you’ll experience the taste exactly as it was intended.

Tasting notes

Nose: Soft nougat, lightly roasted nuts and warm spices, with an elegant sweetness from the Madeira cask.

Palate: Rich and rounded with creamy nougat, star anise and a hint of licorice for depth and complexity.

Finish: Long and warm with mixed spices, light sweetness and a dry, balanced finish.
