Tenuta Tignanello Chianti Classico Riserva 2021 is an elegant and classic Tuscan red wine from the Antinori family’s historic estate in the heart of Chianti Classico. The wine is created to show the full expression of the area’s terroir and the great potential of the Sangiovese grape. The result is a wine of finesse, structure and depth – a beautiful example of classic Chianti Classico in modern interpretation.

The grapes come from vineyards surrounding the famous Tenuta Tignanello estate. Here, the soil and climate create ideal conditions for growing Sangiovese. The combination of warm sunny days and cool nights produces grapes with intense aroma and great freshness. The wine consists primarily of Sangiovese, supplemented by a small proportion of other grape varieties that add complexity and balance.

Since the 2011 vintage, this Chianti Classico Riserva has been produced with grapes from the Tignanello estate. The vinification focuses on highlighting the natural character of the grapes and the elegance of the area. The result is a wine with great structure, vibrant fruit and a classic Tuscan style.

Tenuta Tignanello Chianti Classico Riserva 2021 is a wine with both charm and ageing potential. It can be enjoyed now after oxygenation, but will develop even greater complexity with a few years of aging. It is an excellent match for Italian dishes, grilled meats, game, pasta and aged cheeses.
