Arroyo Seco has been known for Chardonnay since the 1970s and is now considered one of the pioneer areas for the grape in California. For thousands of years, the Arroyo Seco watershed has transported mineral-rich water from the Santa Lucia Mountains and Los Padres National Forest down to the valley. This has created a unique soil of rocks and gravel, which gives the wines a distinct minerality and structure.

The cool and often windy climate in the area prolongs the ripening of the grapes. This preserves freshness and gives the wines an elegant acid structure. Two Squared Chardonnay 2022 is therefore fresh, vibrant and harmonious.
