French Polynesian Vanilla Bean – Vanilla Tahitensis at its best

French Polynesian Vanilla Bean (Vanilla Tahitensis) is one of the most exclusive things you can work with in the kitchen. It’s not just vanilla – it’s a gourmet sensory ingredient loved by pastry chefs, top chefs and gourmets around the world. An aromatic jewel from the lush islands of the Pacific, where nature, climate and craftsmanship come together.

Vanilla originates from French Polynesia, specifically the Îles de la Société archipelago, where the volcanic soil, high humidity and warm ocean breezes create ideal growing conditions. Here they grow the rare Vanilla Tahitensis, which differs significantly from classic bourbon vanilla. The result is a vanilla bean with impressive richness, extreme flexibility and a scent profile that is deep, soft and almost perfumed.

What makes Tahitian Vanilla unique is the natural content of heliotropin – an aroma component that imparts floral, ripe fruit and almond notes. The taste is rounder, more sensual and far more complex than traditional vanilla. Perfect for those who want to take their desserts, baked goods or gastronomic experiments to the next level.

The history of the house

Vanilla is supplied by some of the oldest and most respected producers of Vanilla Tahitensis in French Polynesia. On family-run plantations in the Îles de la Société, cultivation has been refined over generations, with deep respect for nature and the raw material.

All the work is done by hand – from the painstaking pollination of the flowers to the selective harvesting and slow sun-drying. This patient process is crucial to the development of vanilla’s complex aroma and silky smooth texture. The result is a world-class vanilla bean created with passion, tradition and uncompromising quality.
