Weingut Leitz Eins Zwei Dry Sauvignon Blanc Trocken 2023
– Fresh German elegance in the glass

Are you a fan of crisp and aromatic white wines? Then Eins Zwei Dry Sauvignon Blanc Trocken 2023 from Weingut Leitz is a bargain you must not miss! This wine is a fresh breeze from Rheingau – a region usually known as the stronghold of Riesling – but here Sauvignon Blanc takes center stage with juiciness and liveliness that truly impress.

A rare and irresistible Sauvignon Blanc from Germany
It’s not every day you come across a Sauvignon Blanc from Rheingau – but when you do, and it’s made by Leitz, you can expect something special.
This wine is part of the iconic Eins Zwei Dry series, which wine lovers worldwide have come to trust for sublime value-for-money. The series combines German precision, terroir-faithful expression, and the winemaker’s flair for modern style – and this Sauvignon Blanc fits beautifully into the family.
The wine is instantly charming and full of life, with a mouthwatering freshness and plenty of character. It pairs perfectly with shellfish, grilled fish, ceviche – or simply as a glass in the sun.

Tasting notes – here’s what you get in the glass:
Color: Clear, slightly greenish-golden.
Aroma: Intense and aromatic nose with lots of gooseberries, lime, fresh kiwi, and a hint of freshly cut grass.
Taste: Razor-sharp and lively with green fruit, citrus, and wet stone minerality. It has an elegant acidity balanced by fruity fullness. The finish is long and refreshing – leaving you wanting another sip.

Leitz – a family story from Rheingau of world-class quality
Weingut Leitz is among Germany’s most renowned wineries – and with good reason. Today, Johannes Leitz leads the estate, which he took over in 1999 after several years as a winemaker. Since then, the house has experienced explosive growth and is now regarded as a beacon in German wine.
Leitz is based in the legendary wine town of Rüdesheim am Rhein, where some of Rheingau’s very best vineyards are located. Here you find famous parcels such as Berg Schlossberg, Berg Roseneck, Berg Rottland, and Berg Kaisersteinfels – all classified as Grosse Lage, the highest level in German wine law.
The estate’s crown jewel is the monopole vineyard Rosengarten, a small, walled vineyard in the heart of Rüdesheim, just a stone’s throw from the Rhine and shaded by a 1000-year-old castle. Today, Johannes’ son, Antonius Leitz, works side by side with his father. With the same passion and talent, he is shaping the future of Weingut Leitz – and we already look forward to following his steps.
