Wild Series Rum UNICORN – Tasting Kit Vol. 2 is an exclusive tasting kit for the serious rum enthusiast. Here you get a unique opportunity to dive into different brands and distillation methods from the legendary Diamond Distillery in Guyana. The set brings together rare single casks with high strength and distinct character – made for immersion, geekery and pure tasting pleasure.

All rums are molasses-based and show the difference between traditional tread distillers and modern column stills. These are rums with identity, transparency and respect for the craft.

Diamond MEE – 20 years – 59.8%

This rum bears the MEE label and is distilled on the iconic Enmore EHP Coffey Still, the only remaining wood column still in operation. This gives a distinctive and classic Demerara profile.

Distilled in February 2002 and bottled in October 2022, it has been aged in ex-bourbon casks with both tropical and continental aging. No added color. Only 195 bottles from cask #14.

Flavor profile: Deep molasses, dark caramel, toasted oak, spices and concentrated fruit. Long and intense finish.

Diamond SVL – 18 years – 59.3%

This rum is labeled SVL and produced on Diamond’s Four Column Savalle Still. This gives a cleaner and more structured style with a distinct column character.

Distilled in December 2003 and bottled in October 2022, aged continental in ex-bourbon casks. Color is added during aging. Only 195 bottles from cask no. 35.

Flavor profile: Elegant wood, vanilla, dried fruit and spicy sweetness. Firm structure and warm finish.

Distilled in July 2004 and bottled in October 2022, only 195 bottles from cask no. 5.

Flavor profile: Molasses, toffee, dark fruit, oak and warm spices. Medium to long finish with a dry structure.
