There has been a huge amount of attention to the London-based Bimber Distillery since their first release in 2019. This attention is not least due to the unusual approach to the production of their whiskey, which is of course reflected in the taste of their bottlings. Everything that comes from Bimber Distillery is something quite special, but this whiskey is something in itself. It is a single cask whiskey that is exclusively bottled for CRT Spirits, and it is therefore only available on the Danish market. It has become 263 bottles of whiskey which comes from cask # 169. The whiskey is not cold filtered, added color or flip and is thus a cask strength whiskey of 58.7% alcohol. Bimber Single Malt Whiskey Ex-Bourbon Oak Cask Denmark Edition is, as the name suggests, matured on an American oak barrel that has previously contained American bourbon whiskey. This helps to shape a whiskey that is full-bodied, sweet and dominant on fruit notes.
