Glenallachie 10 Years Cask Strength Batch 9 is an uncompromising Speyside Single Malt Whisky bottled at a natural cask strength of 58.1%. This is pure intensity, maximum depth and an explosive taste experience created for the serious whisky lover. This 10 year old bottling clearly shows the direction the distillery is moving in under Billy Walker’s uncompromising leadership.

Batch 9 is composed of carefully selected casks. The whisky is matured in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, combined with Rioja barriques and medium charred and medium toasted American Virgin Oak casks. This combination gives a deep mahogany color and impressive complexity. The result is a powerful, sherry-driven style with sweetness, structure and spicy heat.

The high alcohol content gives a dense and oily mouthfeel. At the same time, the balance is maintained between the honey-soft character of the distillate and the strong influence of the cask. Batch 9 is bottled without chill filtration and without added color. You get whisky in its most authentic and concentrated form. An ideal bottle for your collection or for those who want full power in the glass.
