Klein Constantia once cultivated the legendary Constantia wine, which Napoleon, King Ludwig XIV, George IV and Chancellor Bismarck drank and stored in their private wine cellars. In the early 19th century, the Constance wine was bought by European judges and other rich men rather than Ch. Yquem, Tokay and Madeira. This is an incredibly distinguished wine from Constance, which over the last centuries has been considered one of the greatest wines in the world. It was reportedly Nelson Mandela's favorite wine. The wine lice, which came to Cape Province in the late 1800s, spread death and destruction, and thus the Constance wine disappeared from the market. Over a hundred years after the disappearance of the Constance wine, the rebirth - Vin de Constance - made just like the old Constantia came from the vineyard that once produced this legendary wine. That the wine is suitable for royal events was proven in 2015, when Queen Elizabeth of England served Vin de Constance 2008 for Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife at an official state dinner at Buckingham Palace. Klein Constantia Vin de Constance is stored for up to 4 years in oak barrels - this year, 3 years in Hungarian and French oak barrels and 6 months in steel tanks. This dessert wine has a nice golden amber color and a floral, fresh bouquet of citrus. The taste is fruity and full-bodied with notes of spices and exotic fruits. The long aftertaste is clean and lasting. The wine is made from 100% Muscat de Frontignan grapes.

Château d'Yquem Sauternes 2019
– A wine of rare beauty

Discover the purest expression of noble rot
Château d'Yquem, the only Premier Cru Supérieur in the 1855 classification, is an icon in the world of winemaking and a symbol of exclusivity and quality. This unique wine is a true testament to nature's miracle – noble rot – and one of the finest expressions of the incredible potential of Sauternes wines. With Château d'Yquem, you're not just experiencing a wine; you're embracing an unforgettable journey.

2019: An exceptional vintage
The 2019 vintage provided perfect conditions for winemaking. A cool and rainy spring gave way to high temperatures that lasted until November, creating ideal conditions for the grapes to ripen. A generous rainfall in late July avoided the risk of drought and provided the necessary moisture for optimal maturation of the grapes. Showers at the end of September ensured that Botrytis cinerea – the magical noble rot – could develop on the grape skins, creating the intense complexity for which Château d'Yquem is famous.
With extraordinary weather conditions in mid-October, our team was able to harvest the grapes with a concentration and finesse that is rare in wines of this class. The result is a wine of rare beauty, filled with complexity, elegance, and intense flavor.

The history of Château d'Yquem
For centuries, Château d'Yquem has been one of the most respected names in the world of wine. Located in the Sauternes region of Bordeaux, the estate is renowned for its unique approach to winemaking and for having achieved the prestigious Premier Cru Supérieur classification in 1855 – the highest ranking in the classification. Château d'Yquem is known for its ability to produce some of the most complex, vibrant, and long-lasting sweet wines in the world, a tradition that continues to be refined and developed over decades.

A wine for special moments
Château d'Yquem Sauternes 2019 is a wine that unites the best of tradition and innovation. With its perfect balance of sweetness and acidity, its depth, and layers of flavor – from tropical fruits to honey, spices, and the signature noble rot – this wine is a wonderful choice for special occasions. It can be enjoyed now, but it also has enormous aging potential and will only improve with time.

A rare gem
Château d'Yquem Sauternes 2019 is more than just a wine; it is an investment in quality and taste that will bring joy for many years to come. Don’t miss the opportunity to own a bottle of this rare and incomparable wine – a true masterpiece of nature, craftsmanship, and passion.

Chateau Raymond-Lafon
Famille Meslier Sauternes 2010

Sauternes is almost 2000 hectares, where the soil is mostly gravelly soil with clay and loam in the deeper layers. Raymond-Lafon owns 18 hectares, 16 of which are planted with vines. All their markers are connected to the castle and are divided into further smaller plots. The property is located in the "butter hole" between Chateau d'Yquem, Chateau Suduiraut, Chateau Preignac and Chateau Lafaurie-Teyraguey. The house was established in 1850 by Raymond-Lafon and was therefore not included in the 1855 Classification. Despite that, the house quickly became known for its quality wine. Around the turn of the century, Louis Pontallier inherited the property and his family continued to run the castle. He achieved incredible success and the crowning achievement came in 1921, when Raymond-Lafon was to be the best in Sauternes and even better than Chateau d'Yquem. In the following decades, the standard of the house wine fell and various owners overrode the house's reputation and touch. It was not until 1972, when Francine and Pierre Meslier bought Chateau Raymon-Lafon and the associated marques, that there was a marked improvement in the wine. Pierre had been responsible for production at Chateau d'Yquem for many years before and had seen how Chateau Raymond-Lafon's properties and markers had been neglected and the wine was not living up to its potential. Pierre was trained as an engineer in agriculture and he optimized everything around production and introduced, among other things, the 3-year storage in oak barrels. As early as 1975, so much had been corrected that the vintage has become legendary. While Pierre made major changes to the fields and the work in the cellar, Francine took care of the castle itself and the day-to-day running of the property. Since 1990, it is their children Marie-Françoise, Charles-Henri and Jean-Pierre who run the château and continue the parents' careful work.

Castellani Sommative Santovino
Dessert wine

The Castellani family is one of the pillars of the Tuscan wine industry. The family owns several properties in the region, each of which is run separately with great respect for the uniqueness of the individual fields. In this way, precisely the characteristics that characterize the individual soils are enhanced. Castellani was founded at the end of the 19th century when the winemaker Alfred decided to bottle and sell his wine. In 1903, the company was officially registered at the Chamber of Commerce in Pisa, and since then the Castellani family has exported its exquisite wines from Tuscany to most of the world. The Castellani family focuses on innovation and development, but the very basic philosophy is the same as when the ancestors started the company over 100 years ago, "the quality of a wine starts with the work in the vineyard". The company is still family-run and several generations work together in an exemplary manner to create exquisite wines. Thus, the experience of the older generation is united with the vitality and courage of the younger generation in a common goal of creating wines of high quality.

Castello della Sala
Muffato Umbria 2020

Beautiful noble red wine on Sauvignon Blanc, Grechetto, Traminer, Sémillon and Riesling. The result is a nice concentration of sugar and aroma, which makes Muffato completely its own.

Castello della Sala is located in Umbria, not far from the border with Tuscany and 18 kilometers from the historic city of Orvieto. The Castello della Sala itself is an impressive medieval castle with 500 hectares of land located between the river Paglia and the foot of Monte Nibbio. 170 of them are planted with vineyards.
