Montagny is located in the heart of Burgundy, around the cote Chalonnaise, a little south of the famous city of Beaune. Here, really quality wine is produced from the Chardonnay grape, where the fields are small parcels located up in the hilly terrain. It is a very calcareous soil, which is perfect for the Chardonnay grape. It is a wine with a nice straw yellow color, the taste of lemon and apple, and lots of minerals, particularly full-bodied, nice long finish, where minerals, fruit and tannins, as well as a pleasant dryness, lead to a nice finale.
