Arran 21 Year Old Single Malt is a mature and deeply elegant whisky that captures the essence of Lochranza on the Isle of Arran. This is a 21 year old single malt where time, craftsmanship and nature come together. It’s a whisky for connoisseurs seeking complexity and classic sherry character.

The distillery draws on almost 30 years of experience and uses the crystal clear waters of Loch na Davie. The water flows from the hills above the distillery, providing a clean and precise foundation for distillation. The result is a fruity and balanced house style that gains impressive depth with age.

This bottling is aged in 500 liter Oloroso Sherry Butts and Oloroso Sherry Puncheons. The combination of 1st fill and refill casks creates a rich, layered and harmonious profile. The sherry casks add warm spices, dark fruit and an elegant sweetness.

The whisky is bottled at 46% without cold filtration. This preserves the natural texture and full aroma. Each dram is intense, authentic and true to the character of the island.

Tasting notes

Nose: Ripe figs, raisins and orange peel. Hints of dark chocolate, honey and toasted oak.

Flavor: Full-bodied and rounded. Notes of dried fruit, caramel and warm spices. Balanced sherry sweetness and light nuttiness.

Finish: Long and elegant. Spicy oak, dark fruit and a dry, harmonious finish.
