Cambridge STC♥E 2005 is an intense and characterful Jamaican rum from the historic Long Pond Distillery, bottled by renowned Italian rum specialist Velier. This exclusive edition is part of the National Rums of Jamaica Ltd. series, where some of the most authentic and powerful Jamaican rums are selected and bottled in limited quantities.

Distilled in 2005 at Long Pond Distillery, the rum was aged for 13 years before being bottled in 2018. It is produced in traditional double retort pot stills, known for creating rums with great aromatic intensity and the distinctive Jamaican ester profile that makes Jamaican rum unique in the rum world.

With only 11 casks in this batch and a total of 3,648 bottles, this is a rare bottling that has quickly become sought after by rum collectors and enthusiasts. The high strength of 62.5% delivers a powerful and concentrated rum experience, with all the nuances of fruit, spice and cask ageing coming through.

The story of Long Pond Distillery

Long Pond Distillery is one of Jamaica’s oldest and most respected rum distilleries, dating back to the 1700s. Located in Trelawny, the distillery is known for its traditional pot still production, which creates rums with a high ester profile and immense aromatic depth.

In collaboration with Velier, National Rums of Jamaica has selected some of the most distinctive casks from Long Pond for special bottlings. These rums have achieved cult status among rum lovers because they represent Jamaican rum in its most authentic and unadulterated form.
