Cocchi Bianc d’Bianc Alta Langa Brut 2016 is Northern Italian elegance at its best. This exclusive sparkling wine from Piedmont was created by Giulio Cocchi and produced in very limited quantities. A serious Metodo Classico with a full 60 months of cellaring, this is a wine with depth, structure and impressive complexity.

The wine is made exclusively from Chardonnay and has undergone secondary fermentation in the bottle according to the classic “Metodo Tradizionale”. The long bottle ageing on yeast for five years produces fine, persistent bubbles and a creamy texture that elevates the wine to a level where it can easily compete with great sparkling wines from the world’s leading regions.

The 2016 vintage was released in 2022 after a long and patient maturation. The result is a structured and mineral sparkling wine with a great balance between freshness and mature depth. Perfect as an aperitif, with oysters, shellfish, fish dishes or as an accompaniment to elegant servings where only the best is good enough.

Tasting notes

Aroma: Delicate and complex with notes of green apple, citrus, white flowers and toasted almonds. Fine brioche notes and light nuttiness from the long yeast contact.

Flavor: Crisp and precise with nice acidity and creamy mousse. Hints of lemon, pear and mineral freshness are balanced by depth and light roasted notes.

Finish: Long, dry and elegant with persistent freshness and fine, chalky undertones.
