Domaine Maldant Pauvelot Savigny-Lès-Beaune 1er Cru Aux Gravains 2018 – classic Burgundy with depth and finesse

Domaine Maldant Pauvelot Savigny-Lès-Beaune 1er Cru Aux Gravains 2018 is true Burgundy from the heart of the Côte de Beaune. A Premier Cru with elegance, structure, and a strong sense of place—made from 100% Pinot Noir from the historic Les Gravains vineyard, planted back in 1944.

Here you get a classic Savigny-Lès-Beaune with both finesse and character. The 2018 vintage offers ripe fruit, fine concentration, and silky tannins, balanced by lively acidity and mineral precision. This is Burgundy as wine lovers seek it: refined, age-worthy, and wonderfully gastronomic.

Les Gravains is known for producing wines with structure and depth, and the old vines contribute naturally low yields and excellent concentration. The result is a 1er Cru with complexity and elegance—perfect for anyone looking for serious Pinot Noir from Burgundy.

House History

Domaine Maldant Pauvelot is a traditional family estate founded in the late 19th century by Jean Pauvelot (the first). Today, the domaine farms around 18 hectares of vineyards and is run by Jean-Luc Maldant together with Arnauld Jobard, who is a partner in the business.

Wines are produced under both the Domaine Maldant Pauvelot name and the Jean Luc Maldant label. The estate is known for terroir-driven quality wines, sold through specialist wine shops and served in many excellent restaurants across France. The focus is on precision, low yields, and respect for Burgundy’s classic traditions.
