The wine is made from approximately 35-year-old vines that deliver low yields and high concentration. It is aged 10-12 months in oak barrels, 40-50% of which are new. This gives structure, complexity and ageing potential, but without overpowering the pure and terroir-driven expression of the fruit. The result is a monumental red Burgundy with both precision and depth – a wine for connoisseurs and collectors.

In the glass, it is intense and elegant with a classic Grand Cru character. It is a wine that develops beautifully in the decanter and promises many years of positive development in the cellar. Perfect with game, beef, lamb or mature cheeses.
