Geil Rieslaner Beerenauslese Rheinhessen 2020 – Rare German dessert wine with intense sweetness and elegance
Geil Rieslaner Beerenauslese 2020 is a unique and sought-after dessert wine from Rheinhessen in Germany. This wine is made from the rare Rieslaner grape variety, which is only found in a few hectares of vineyards throughout Germany. The result is a wine that combines intense sweetness, fresh acidity and an aromatic complexity that makes it a true treasure for wine lovers.
At Weingut Geil, the grapes are allowed to hang on the vine for a long time, slowly concentrating their sugars and aromas. Often the grapes also develop the noble fungus Botrytis cinerea, which is the key to the world’s great dessert wines. This natural process gives the wine depth, complexity and an irresistible balance of sweetness and freshness.
Beerenauslese means that the grapes are carefully selected berry by berry at harvest. Only the most concentrated and perfectly ripe grapes make it to the press. The result is an intense dessert wine with great aromatic richness, great structure and a remarkable length on the finish.
Geil Rieslaner Beerenauslese 2020 is a wine that impresses both as a dessert wine and as a companion to strong cheeses. It is also an exciting choice for collectors and wine lovers who want to experience a rare grape variety in its most concentrated form.

About Weingut Geil
Weingut Geil is located in the traditional wine village of Bechtheim in Rheinhessen. Today, the winery is run by Johannes Geil, who combines the family’s long traditions with a modern approach to winemaking. The family has been growing wine since the 1800s, and today the house is known for its pure, precise and terroir-driven wines.
At Geil, they work with great respect for nature and a strong focus on quality in the vineyard. The goal is to emphasize the natural character of the grapes and the terroir of the area. Rieslaner Beerenauslese is one of the house’s rarest specialties and is only produced in years when nature allows for perfect botrytis and extreme grape concentration.
