History of the house – Gordon & MacPhail

Founded in 1895 in Elgin, Gordon & MacPhail has been one of Scotland’s most respected independent bottlers and maturers of whisky for over a century. With their own warehouses and unique relationships with distilleries across Scotland, they select casks with extreme care – maturing whiskies over decades until they reach absolute perfection.

Gordon & MacPhail is known for some of the world’s oldest and most coveted releases. Their philosophy is clear: a whisky is only released when time has finished it.
The Dram Takers Collection Volume 1 is a brilliant example of this approach.
