The 2015 Jamieson Ranch Four Reins from Cordes Vineyards in the Atlas Peak AVA is an uncompromising, terroir-driven Cabernet Sauvignon from one of Napa Valley’s most distinctive ridges. Here you get 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from high-altitude vineyards where the rocky, lean soil creates small, concentrated clusters of grapes with intense flavor and structure.

Cordes Vineyards is located in Atlas Peak – an area known for its cooler mountain air, strong sun and well-drained, thin soils. The combination results in a long growing season and grapes with deep color, distinctive tannin structure and impressive concentration. The 2015 vintage is powerful, yet elegant and balanced.

The wine is first vinified in steel tanks to preserve the purity and precision of the fruit and then aged 18 months in French oak barrels (40% new). This combination provides freshness, complexity and silky smooth integration between fruit and barrel.

The Four Reins series represents Jamieson Ranch’s most ambitious wines, and with the 2015 you get a Napa Cabernet with both structure and finesse – ideal for hearty meat dishes, grilled prime rib, braised beef or aged cheeses.
