La Maison du Rhum #3 10 Year Old St. Lucia Rum 48% is a powerful and characterful single batch rum from the renowned St. Lucia Distillers. This 10 year old rum unites Caribbean tradition with modern precision, delivering an intense and balanced flavor experience at full 48%.

Distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2022, Batch 3 is produced in a limited edition of 5,486 bottles. An exclusive bottling selected for La Maison du Rhum’s prestigious collection, where only specially selected distilleries represent their respective countries.

The rum is produced at St. Lucia Distillers, founded in 1972 after a merger of two distilleries on the island. The distillery has both three pot stills and a column still (Coffey still design), providing great flexibility in production and a distinctive house style. This edition is distilled on column stills, creating a clean and structured base with a beautiful elegance.

Aged in American white oak barrels, the rum develops notes of vanilla, caramel and spice over 10 years. The combination of Caribbean climate, long barrel aging and the distillery’s blending expertise creates a harmonious and complex rum with classic St. Lucia character.

Tasting notes

Aroma: Vanilla, toasted oak notes and caramel. Hints of tropical fruit and light spicy sweetness.
