Longrow Peated 2023 is true Campbeltown character with deep smoke and classic craftsmanship. Bottled on 14.11.2023, this single malt is produced at Springbank Distillery – one of Scotland’s most traditional distilleries. Longrow was first distilled in 1973 and is today an icon of powerful, double-distilled and heavily peated whisky.

The malt is peated for up to 48 hours, resulting in a distinctive and dry smoky style. The smoke is intense but balanced by the distinctive maritime and slightly oily Campbeltown profile. Less than 100 casks of Longrow are filled each year, making each release particularly sought after.

The whisky is not chill-filtered. This means that natural cloudiness can occur at low temperatures. This is a mark of quality and disappears again at room temperature. Please note that this edition comes without a box – only the bottle.

Tasting notes

Nose: Intense peat smoke, sea breeze and light salted caramel. Notes of citrus and roasted grains.

Taste: Powerful and full-bodied. Dry ash, pepper and smoked malt. Underlying sweetness and light vanilla for balance.

Finish: Long and persistent. Smoke, oak and maritime nuances linger.
