A Colheita is a tawny port from a single harvest, aged in small oak barrels until bottling. About Messiah

Messias was founded in 1926 when Messias Baptista was registered as an individual merchant at the Tribunal do Coméricio de Anadia. In the 1930s and 1940s, he built the company through the acquisition and development of properties in the Bairrada region and the construction of headquarters and cellars, which remain central to production. In 1953, the company became a limited company under the name Sociedade Agrícole e Comercial dos Vinhos Messias. Today, Messias produces port, sparkling and still wines and exports around 65% of its production to five continents – a testament to its international recognition and quality.
