The story of Planteray (Plantation Rum)

Plantation Rum was created by Alexandre Gabriel, the visionary creator of the prestigious cognac house Maison Ferrand. In the 1990s, Gabriel traveled through the Caribbean in search of the most characterful rums. Here he found small distilleries with great passion and unique traditions.

He developed a pioneering philosophy:
Tropical aging in the Caribbean – followed by further aging in French oak barrels.
The result was rums with depth, complexity and a signature style that quickly made Plantation one of the world’s most recognized brands among bartenders, collectors and enthusiasts.
