This single cask rum comes from the legendary Long Pond distilleries (ITP & HJC marques), known for their distinctive, ester-rich and aromatic style. The result is a deep and characterful Jamaica rum that shows both raw power and impressive elegance.

The rum is aged for 21.5 years in tropical ex-bourbon casks in Jamaica, where the warm climate accelerated maturation and created an intense concentration. It is then sent to France for 2 years of continental aging in Ferrand barrels, which rounds out the structure and adds finesse. To top it off, the rum is finished for a further 6 months in New York Distilling Company rye whisky casks – a detail that adds an extra layer of spicy depth and complexity.

With 0 g/l dosage, this rum is bottled without any added sugar. It’s pure, unadulterated Jamaica rum – powerful, dry and uncompromising. Bottled at 49.1% alcohol, it offers both strength and balance.

Tasting notes

Nose: Green banana and fresh pineapple emerge alongside mango, vanilla and coconut. Beneath the fruit are fruit pits and fresh spices like fennel and caraway for a vibrant and aromatic expression.

Flavor: Intense, long and dry. A wealth of exotic fruits – even more ripe than in the aroma. Notes of vanilla, marzipan and bitter almond merge with light grainy nuances and elegant spice from the cask.

Finish: Long and persistent with violet candy notes, dark fruit and a distinctive, woody structure that testifies to the long tropical aging.
