This is a vintage rum from the Fiji Islands that’s been aged for a full 19 years with the Plantation/Planteray style’s signature: double aged. First, the rum matures in a tropical climate, where the barrels work intensely, adding power, spice and deep fruit. Then it’s rounded off in France, where it develops more finesse, silkiness and layer upon layer of complexity.

This is rum with a clear origin: Fiji can provide a delicious combination of tropical fruit, spice, deeper molasses notes and a slightly funky edge that brings the glass to life. At 50.3%, you also get a nice concentration and plenty of aroma – perfect both neat and with a few drops of water if you want to open it up even more.
