About Maison Billecart-Salmon – A Champagne house with deep roots
Billecart-Salmon was founded in 1818 and is still run as a family-owned Champagne house – now in its 7th generation. Based in the charming town of Mareuil-sur-Aÿ near Épernay, the house owns 100 hectares of vineyards and sources grapes from a total of 300 hectares across 40 crus in Champagne.
Especially noteworthy is their dedication to quality and precision – an approach that has made Billecart-Salmon renowned and beloved among Champagne enthusiasts worldwide. Most grapes are sourced within just a 20 km radius of the cellars, with prestigious areas such as Montagne de Reims, Vallée de la Marne, and Côte des Blancs delivering top-quality Pinot Noir, Meunier, and Chardonnay.
