Collectors Series Rum No. 8 is an uncompromising single cask bottling for the serious enthusiast. Here you get power, concentration and classic Dominican elegance all in one bottle – bottled at a whopping 65% and only 592 copies released. This is rum for collectors and connoisseurs who seek intensity and depth without filter.

This edition comes from a secret distillery in the Dominican Republic and is based on molasses. The distillation is done on column still, resulting in a clean and structured distillate with a focus on fruit, balance and cask influence. The rum is then aged in Ex-Bourbon casks, adding vanilla, caramel and spicy oak.

Aged for up to 15 years, the rum has achieved great maturity and rounded character – but at 65% alcohol, it retains a raw, unadulterated strength. It’s a rum that opens up significantly in the glass and can be enjoyed with a little water to release even more aromatic layers.

Bottled in March 2022 and released in very limited quantities, this is a Collectors Series release suitable for both the cellar and the glass.
