Doyard-Mahé specializes in Blanc de Blancs – Champagne made exclusively from 100% Chardonnay. Empreinte expresses the chalky terroir of the area with vibrant acidity, pronounced minerality and a crystal clear fruit profile.

Champagne Doyard-Mahé – Four generations of passion

Champagne Doyard-Mahé is a family house with roots in the well-known Premier Cru village of Vertus. Maurice Doyard (1889-1974) was one of Champagne’s great pioneers, setting the standard for quality and respect for terroir. Today, his grandson Philippe Doyard and daughter Carole carry on the tradition with the same passion, producing terroirtro champagnes in limited quantities.

The house owns just 6 hectares of vineyards and produces around 50,000 bottles annually. The work in the fields is carried out as sustainably as possible with minimal use of pesticides – always with a focus on highlighting the unique expression of Vertus.
