Lagg Distillery Corriecravie Edition is an intense and powerful single malt whisky from Lagg Distillery on the Isle of Arran. This edition shows a fuller and more complex side to the distillery’s smoky style. Here, heavy peat smoke meets deep, dark notes from sherry casks. The result is a whisky with strength, warmth and great depth.

The whisky is distilled in the south of the Isle of Arran near the village of Kilmory. The area is known as the agricultural heart of the island. Distilling has been part of the local community here for hundreds of years. The coastal location provides a climate that is ideal for maturing whisky.

Corriecravie Edition receives a final maturation in sherry casks. This adds complexity and a rich character to the whisky. At the same time, a peat level of 50 PPM gives a distinct but elegant smoke profile. The combination of smoke and sherry creates a rich and powerful whisky with lots of character.

The whisky is bottled at 55%. The high alcohol content gives an intense flavor experience and a concentrated aroma. Here you get a single malt that really unfolds the distillery’s style. A whisky that will especially excite fans of smoky and cask-style Scotch whiskies.
